After long-term investigation and testing, Wuhan Public Security Bureau has put the country's first hydrogen powered multirotor drone into use. This marks the beginning of the hydrogen fuel-powered drone use in the Chinese law enforcement. MMC is appointed to be the largest supplier for in later procurement. The video investigation team of Wuhan Public Security Bureau has recorded the first professional video for their investigation team. They are doing a great job by going ahead of the rest of lawenforcement agencies by UAVs for surveillance in police applications. They have been awarded for many times in protecting lives and properties of people in an efficient and prompt manner.Mr. Liu, the commander of the bureau, commented in his interview that the common UAV has a very short flight endurance and the total time for implementing tasks is not sufficient for the police needs. There are many lakesalong the Yangtze River and the Hanjiang Riverbasins. And the make the city of Wuhan unfriendly to g lithium batteries based surveillance. What’s more, if the effective coverage radius is very small, police officers have to drive to the missionspot, and then try flying the copter. That means the UAV responsein case of unexpected events is not timely enough for police need. MMC's HyDrone 1550, which is made of the carbon fiber and powered by hydrogen fuel battery, breaks the limitations of the lithium battery for its flight endurance reaches 3 hours. Its advantagesare long flight endurance, easy operation and high safety efficiency. They make HyDrone 1550 the best supporter for the video investigation. HyDrone 1550 ideally should take off in the command center and land automatically at the same spot after finishing the task. The responding time towards emergencies much shorter while effective coverage area quite lager. The HyDrone 1550 is not onlyused in surveying but also in power line inspection, oil inspection, forestry firefighting and monitoring, etc. Its multifunction makes itone of the most competitive drone in the world.Experts say that the prominent advantage brought by Hydrogen fuel cells on a uav will completely changeand develop additional spectrum of application in the uav industry.

The recent FAA regulations have attributed to significant development within both industrial and commercial UAV business development. Namely, the Section 333 exempt has lost its importance for the commercial drones used in inspection, photography and other video recording applications. With the new development in both its hardware and software, MMC has yielded substantial benefits from the above mentioned changes. According to the FAA’s Part 107 rule, the authorized UAV operator, with his/her certification and checkups (every 24 months), stands as the legal entity with ability to determine the legality of the vehicle without having to apply it for the Section 333. This however, applies solely to inspection/photography applications. The businesses interested in providing industrial solutions are still bound to applying for the Section 333 exempt. This particular change in rules goes incredibly hand in hand with MMC’s Aviation Academy. A year ago, MMC has opened up a UAV academy that provides legal operation certificates (only for Chinese airspace) as well as high level UAV training that includes, operational, theoretical, practical and simulative approaches. The latest UAV simulators serve as the foundation to any well instructed operator. At the Aviation Academy the operator can get fulfill many training hours, take exams and even pickup on the technical side of operating a UAV. Additionally, having all of our international staff certified in operating UAVs, MMC willingly sends out its branch staff (USA, India, Indonesia…etc.) to demonstrate, or perform technical checkup for other businesses. Another FAA’s change that contributes to MMC expansion is the restriction in operational height and speed of the vehicle. MMC navigational software with the latest tweaks and options allows the user a full and easy control of their vehicle. By using a computer or a smart device, MMC’s drones are easily controlled; the maintenance of the constant speed as well as the necessary height (400 feet) comes in rather natural vie the navigational software. The latest acquisition of an immense developing facilities (8000 m²), ensures MMC perfect conditions for obstacle avoidance, pre-planned routs and many other testing. These solidify the company’s focus on safety, professionalism, client’s satisfaction and overall high standards of operations.Overall the Part 107 rule has made a significant impact on MMC’s development. The MMC’s Aviation Academy stands as a direct solution to the change in flight training requirements. The facility offers flight training terrain, and the latest simulations devices as well as the ability to witness both hardware and software development. The MMC Tech Park incorporates the production factory, Aviation Academy and the R&D center. It is the state of the art facility that is a one stop solution for any serious UAV startup.

Since the UAV industry arises, more and more adverse cases have taken place. For example: drones and fighters collide, UAV drones fall down and hurt unprotected people, and uav drones broke into the prohibited military zone to have aerial photography revealing military secrets..  More than 200 representatives from China, the United States, Russia, Germany, and Italy, etc. attended the discussion, which include national Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Civil Aviation Authority, etc.and also some international organization such as ISO TC20 / SC16 ,ASTM F38, SAE International and EASA,etc. Some famous drone companies was on the list of invitation as well, among which MMC is one invited. Mr Lu, chairman of the MMC and Miss An, as representatives of MMC, participate in this forum. Mr. Lu expressed his ideas from the perspectives of the innovative trend of the droneindustry and safe operations of the drones. “We now produce Industrial Inspection Drone, and agricultural drone. Tomorrow, UAV will permeat everyone’s daily life. The UAV drone may be used in express, meal order and entertainment. The future is bright but also we need to be alert. For the rapid growth of the UAV industry, we must take measures to set a strict rules to guarantee the safe operation...” Mr. Lu’s words arose everyone’s recognition. And Mr. Lu then shared some case study and experience of many years in the industrial uav field. The rapid development of the UAV has pushed standard study on UAV forward. The MMC’s recent unprecedented growth has been celebrated by various internal and external developments. One in particular was the opening of the new state of the art production facility in Bao’an Shenzhen, China. The latest discoveries in the hydrogen technology have led MMC to developing the first ever commercially used hydrogen-fueled drone HYDrone 1800 which holds the record 4½ hour flight time. This creation, apart from provoking utter worldwide frenzy, has indeed required immediate production improvements within MMC lines.MMC’s previous factory, located in BaiShiZhou old industrial zone (soon to become a residential area), was a tic away from the MMC headquarters. At the time, a few months ago, with 3500m2, being at its full potential, the factory could not follow up the aftermath of the HyDrone 1800 launch. Post launch period led to quadruple number of orders which exceeded by a few margins all the possible production potential of the old factory located in Shahe Industrial Zone, Nanshan District, Shenzhen Jie Road, 502,503. Consequently, and rather promptly, the MMC executives have purchased a state of the art production line facility located in Tech Park, Shi Huan Road, Bao'an district, Shenzhen. As a newly established, environment-friendly industrial zone, with over 8000m2, certified aviation school, football field size testing area and the water/wind testing facilities, the new MMC factory offers appropriate conditions for timely responses to all the international orders as well as the cutting edge educational settings. Three stories building also includes dorms for the visitors/students, a testing roof and the R&D department equipped with the latest UAV technologies. Located in Bao’an Industrial District (a few miles away from the consumer electronics giant, Huawei), the factory has a speedy access to the main highway and is only several kilometers away from the Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport. MMC’s rapid development goes hand in hand with the extraordinary development of Shenzhen, also known as the Silicon Valley of China. MMC represents a leader in industrial and recreational drone development respectively. The UAV clusters of Guangdong represent the corporate phenomenon and center of the world’s unmanned aerial systems and vehicles. Come and visit us here at MMC, Shenzhen, China, and witness the impossible!
